It's only the beginning of the actual book, hence the creation story. Her name in German is Susi Neunmalklug, Smartypants sounds a bit better than the more literal translation 'nine times clever'.

Susie told us a detailed version of the creation story and nothing about evolution! Some actual info about evolution would help kids (and adults) more than “go tell your teacher he’s stupid [even if you don't know why]“.

Also, I want to know what the German for “smartypants” is – 9 something something?
