…that a google image search for “voltaire goth” lists several images from my site on the first page.
Huh. $internet_popularity++
In unrelated news, I really wish I had gone with a more artistic career choice, or that at the very least I programmed for more creative endeavors. I miss having inspiration and aspirations, two things I may have lacked since moving to Ithaca.
In other unrelated news, I’m considering trying this whole ‘Twitter‘ thing (which I had previously been discounting as a silly fad). If that goes well, chances are you’ll hear more about it from me.
In its entirety, Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog, the coolest thing since Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle, Firefly, or The Guild:
For the record, I’ve known about Dr. Steel for months. I think he’s cool, too, and the music is good to dance to. But Dr. Horrible has the better narrative and the music is good to sing-along to. This whole “we were here first” kerfuffle is sadly both necessary (because otherwise Dr. Steel will be derided as a rip-off later) and stupid (because it shouldn’t matter).

Via Wikipedia (breadcrumbs: Route 66 -> Route 666 -> 666 -> Hexakosioihexekontahexaphobia).
As Krissy pointed out, hexakosioihexekontahexaphobia is tied with floccinaucinihilipilification as the longest non-technical word in the English language. But, in a non-monospaced font, hexakosioihexekontahexaphobia will appear much longer, making it cooler. Both words are longer than the oft-mis-cited antidisestablishmentarianism.

The things I do when I should be working…
My google reader claims this was available on Cute Overload earlier today, but it’s gone now. That’s a cryin’ shame, because I think it’s the coolest thing they’ve posted in a long time (maybe ever?).

Looks like it originally came from BMEzine, which is way cooler than Cute Overload could ever hope to be.
